How to remove excess text?

Odd request, but I've got a document which has every line repeated underneath it.

eg:

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
yyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
yyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz


Is there anyway to remove the repeated stuff without doing it manually as there is around 30 pages to get through :/
