How to remove red warning from "full" drive

Dear god, the OP just asked a simple question, he didn't claim it was a matter of life or death.

Yes, it's a cosmetic issue. So what? Maybe the OP has an OCD. So what? And no, I know it doesn't actually "flash" or "pop up", it was just a figure of speech.

The red bar is not very important. It doesn't matter all that much. In the context of life in general, nor do most things that get discussed on this forum.

I thought this thread was going down the red vs green route for a minute and totally off topic when I read this.

Maybe when we have intel going gfx then this will happen.

There may be another safer way to accomplish his goal if he lets us know what it is. if it's simply asthetic so be it. Else perhaps can find a safe, not-so-hack-like fix.
