How to repair a split gaiter?

Oh yeah! :D

Serious amounts of win when it works though, which isn't much admittedly at the moment :p

I have been thinking about this, i cant work out what "has serious amounts of win" about a 620ti?

They are 200bhp in a fairly seizable car right? Which doesnt sound fantastic to me?

Edit: dont get me wrong, i am not having a go at the car per say, just the over enthusiasm which owners seem to have for them when there are absolutely thousands of cars more capable on the market!

I repaired a CV gaiter that was split in the same way.

I used PU adhesive in the hole and then smeared PU adhesive over the top and surrounding area. I then placed a small rubber patch over the wet adhesive and let it dry. Finally I used the PU adhesive to seal the edges of the patch.

Been on there about 12 months without any problems.

My plan was ****looads of Araldite plus a puncture repair kit, then more Araldite on that. :D

Don't know what you mean about the parts network... oh wait :p

If anything it encourages people to be more resourceful, so is only doing good!

Talking of which, I couldn't actually get the lower balljoint apart even using a big hammer and ****ing 9 shades of **** out of it! This is going to be fun.
