Before anyone starts this is pc related, well the xbox is a pc on the inside..

Have an Xbox console and want to put a better heatsink on the CPU so I could get better temps, I can easily replace the GPU heatsink with a Zalman Northbridge cooler and glue it on with thermal epoxy as the gpu has a heatspreader, on the otherhand the cpu is just the die with no heatspreader, best I can do is replace thermal paste with arctic silver, but how would you mount a heatsink onto a cpu with no heatspreader and non standard mounting holes/retention bracket bare in mind the xbox cpu is a pentium 3 700mhz and runs at 45-50 degrees Idle, 60-70 Degrees load...the stock heatsink is held in by a lever arm...which does not work with other heatsinks

Here you can see pics of the CPU...

They show you how to mod the xbox etc. don't they? Which allows you to play pirated games hence warez. The link isn't needed, just rehost the images.

Modding the xbox is not illegal, as long as the code you run on the mod chip is not illegal, you can run linux on an xbox which is legal, modding is only illegal because copyrighted software is used on the mod chips.., all mod chips shiip[ed today do not come supplied with copyrighted code, you have to obtain it yourself... back on subject you want me to host the images here, that's illegal as the pictures belong to that site otherwise I would have done it in the first place now could somebody put my link back so others can try and help...
