On the M11 junction merging onto the M25 clockwise there is a juicy pothole in the road. It's at a point where the car has to turn gradually to merge onto the M25, and since their's traffic overtaking on the right lane it's difficult to avoid it.

Who do I get that reported to?

Highways I would have thought. If that they aren't the right people, I'm sure they'll pass the report on to whoever is.

Yep, Highways Agency are the people to speak to. You'd be best to get a marker post reference to make identification easier.

Get a markerpost reference and direction + lane. you can report it to the highways agency and they will pass it on to their Managing Agent Contractor (MAC) who are tasked with maintaining the roads in that area. Have fun ;)

Highways Agency covers the trunk A road network (green signs) I believe, everything else is the local authority.

Hmm, I'm not sure about that, as surely most A roads are green signed ones?

I was under the impression that Highways covered all A(M) roads, but the rest were local

Some have white signs. These aren't Highways Agency.

They seem to be more common in Wales than in England.. and full of bloody potholes, most of which have formed in the exact same place as they did last year.

the whole of the "new" m25 sucks for road surface. Yes they've made it 4 lanes now but what the hell did they do to the surface?!? :(

As others have said Highways Agency would be your best bet.

Here in Scotland since the M8 was closed (for three days) due to the weather conditions the road surface is atrocious now the ice has melted. It got the the stage local radio stations were warning of one particular severe pot hole at J3A before anything was actually done about it

Potholes round here are insane right now, there's not a lot of them, but the ones that are the whole road surface is gone for a many sq. inch patch right where everyone drives. They're one step short of hitting a concrete bollard!

Wrong... The Highways Agency look after the motorwars and Major Trunk roads (A roads) the remainder fall to local authorities :)

EDIT: Wrong quote before :s
