How to reset cmos without jumper

Got a p35-ds3r no jumper on the cmos so how do i reset it? Would updating the bios do the same job?

I take it you mean you dont have a jumper to hand and you want to clear the cmos?

Easiest way would be to use a screwdriver to join the two pins together.

Pop out the battery, leave it a bit, and pop it back in?

just borrow a jumper of a cd-rom or something and then put it back after. I have similar board ga-p35-ds3l and thats what i do

Use a screwdriver to connect the relevant pins, or take the battery out for a while.
