How to reuse an original S939 AMD cooler?

Hi

In a few days I will upgrade my Athlon 64 3000+ to an Athlon 64 3700+ and I want to reuse the A64 with the original AMD cooler in another computer but I don´t know if it will need any new thermal grease or not. I´ve seen one from GEiL that is quite cheap, is that one ok?

Also, how can I remove the cooler, I tried to remove it the other day and I couldn´t, it seems that is glued to the cooler

May be I´m an idiot and I dont know how to look for it but I haven´t found any articles about removing the fan.

Well, I don´t plan to use it anymore so yes, it will be only one use.

And again, I have done another search and I haven´t been able to find anything to the issue, although I think that I will do what you say.
