How to Rma if don't want to break lock down

Bit of a hypothetical question
Unless my new gpu does not work when I get it today lol
But if you are sticking to strict lock down for medical reasons
And can't go to a post office
How do you return something?
In these exceptional circumstances will companies send a replacement
And have the courier collect the returns at the same time?
Not specifically aimed at ocuk just companies in general really
 
You might get a company willing to organise a collection but I would bet there's no chance you'd get a card before they receive the return.
 
Gigabyte I believe can arrange collection with RMA if it's their stuff, you'd have to pay for delivery of course but should be able to take care of, your you get for to send to their UK base

Just tried to fit the block
Seems its not the right block don't know if damaged the card
Right now am so ****** off with the whole carry on its close to being hurled
Never mind rma
 
Feel your pain mate i wouldn't be happy either hopefully youll sort it i know these companies collect because ive been selling stuff and dont go out because of self isolating

Or my partly disassembled loop right now
Way too stressed over the whole drawn
Out gpu fiasco right now

When my 2070 super (B-Grade) turned up DOA I had to organise for a ParcelForce collection from the door to return to OCUK, it cost around 20 iirc and was nearly 10% of the cost out of the budget. EVGA however will do an RMA where they send the card out before you return it, but you have to pay for it initially and then they refund the cost of the new card once they have tested and checked the card is broken, otherwise I think its a cost to the end user.
 
Just use dpd local. It's quick and easy they even provide the labels for you. They come and pick up the parcel and take it away. I wouldn't touch the royal mail with a barge pole.
 
Question I have though does anyone pay extra to insure for loss or damadge. I did when I sold a monitor and it cost about £30 all in so I lost that off the sale. I do trust dpd though to do a good job.

I explained was in strict lock down which is true not left the property since even before boris introduced lock down
As my partners vulnerable
They got dpd to collect the block
And my new blocks out for delivery today
