How to roll back AMD drivers?

I've hit a problem with my 3-monitor setup on a 7870 where the monitors worked fine until a couple of weeks ago but now I can only get two to work at once. I thought the problem may have been caused by the minidisplayport to VGA active adapter conking out, but I've now got a different one and get the same problem.

I've tried all sorts to solve it so far but no luck.

I'm now going to try rolling back the drivers to previous versions but I'm not sure how. So:

1. how do I uninstall and go back to older drivers? (I've seen reference to running some 'sweeping' programs but that they can also create more problems)
2. where can I download the older drivers from?
3. is there a summary of the dates when drivers were released so i can see if it coincides with my problem starting?

Unless you have express uninstalled all AMD software in the past, the installers for all the drivers you have previously installed should be in C:\AMD

Use DDU to uninstall.
Find old drivers "google.com"
