How to rotate an image with HTML

I have uploaded an image and would like to insert it in an HTML webpage but rotated 90 degrees. Is there any way to do this with HTML code or do I have to do it before uploading the picture?

surely best to save the images the right way round first.

im almost certain you can't do it in HTML - but im sure PHP will have an image rotate function.

Yeah, I decided just to save it how I wanted it then rotate it.

Unfortunately now the ftp server doesn't want to upload any more Just my luck.
