How to run 4K without DP?

Slight screw up here - bought the ASUS GTX 970 Turbo, and very happy with it. However, it only has a single DP (not a clue why ASUS did that, but fair enough).

I'm using the DP for my main G-Sync monitor, but that leaves only the DVI and HDMI to run the 4K U28D590D - which means either 30Hz (painful) or 1440p (bearable).

I'm thinking that my best options would be either a second card to run the 4K monitor, or some kind of USB solution?

Problem is, last time I tried running multiple cards (GTX 760 for gaming and passive AMD/NV card for desktop monitors) it never worked properly. Is anyone doing something like this effectively? Or is there another option I've not thought of yet?

How long have you had the GTX 970? Can you not return it and get a card with two DP sockets? Or was card a Black Friday deal?

I could return it, but won't given that I'm happy with the card otherwise and it's not OcUK's fault I didn't check the outputs.

The dual input is an interesting idea, I'll take a look at that.

Yep, dual input worked perfectly - obviously it's not as nice as just having a DP, but it makes life a lot easier!

Thanks Orcvader.
