how to screen share?

is there a feature like remote assistance (not a take control app like remote desktop connection) that can work between two apps in two different places?

dont want to use ichat or anything so is there just a native way for leopard to share the screen of another leopard mac?

Something like Back to my Mac does the same thing but you need a .Mac subscription

i was quite excited about that it looked really good (LogMeIn Rescue would have been the product i needed - would have come in useful for other purposes aswell) but alas, its only for windoze...

it can control macs remotely, but the main app cant run in OS X.

gutted - real shame cuz i'd used hamachi in the past and found it excellent, but that was also on windows

Have a look at the Echo Ware stuff. Needs a server with an open port, which then acts as a proxy to all your other connections - so they only need outgoing (pass through NAT/Firewall etc.)

They have a version that works on Macs (both server and client) and a nice single-exe server for the machine you want to control
