Hi Folks
I have just moved over to VISTA MCE from XP MCE and have a query relating to sound output.
My system has 2 sound cards, the onboard SPDIF goes to a surround processor and a USB M-Audio transit card to my main Amp for music audio via Windows media player (As this card supports bit perfect output!)
The issue is I cannot select a different soundcard for use by Media Player "only" (as was the case in XP MCE).
If load MP11, right click the bar, tools/options and select the devices tab. Then double click speakers then adcanced. Here you can can select a diffrect soundcard, however this changes the system default in Vista!
Under XP if you made the change here it only changed the output for Media Player!
Any Ideas?
Cheers
