I'm tempted to upgrade to a 77" but I'm not sure how I would shift my current TV.

I have a 65" Samsung S95B which obviously takes up a lot of space so I would need to sell it pretty fast. The problem with this is that due to the size it would likely need to be local, so FB market place etc. But people on these places will only see it as a 65" TV and compare it to the fact they can grab a cheap 65" TV from Tesco for under £400. How do I sell it to get the value it's actually worth and what couriers are happy to accept TVs? I have the original box and packing up in the loft, so securely packaging it would not be a problem. I just don't want to order the new one without knowing of a sure way I can shift this one without having to pretty much give it away.

Also I would imagine that most people wanting a high-end TV would normally look to buy new.

This is the issue, I accept I'll probably only be able to just clear about £500 for it, because any more than that and you're taking a risk with something 2nd hand.
I just know trying to sell it locally will be people offering half that and expecting it to fit in their Corsa

I'll probably stick it on avforums and maybe the MM here and just hope
