how to set a new window size in win7

when ever i open a new window it opens full screen size but off the the left so i have to move it every time i open a window.

what do i do to make it open in a size i can set?

If you resize and move the Window, then close it Windows should remember the setting. Failing all else have a read at this....

i should menion im using chrome if that makes a difference, will have a look at that link.

Ahh try this then..

Resize and position the window where you want it then instead of closing the window with the "X," go to the little wrench and click "Exit." Open Chrome again, and the window should be the size and position that you want.
