Hi all, is there a way I can set a computer to use under 100% of cpu usage when running Bionc, say 50% or so.

there's no way within Boinc of doing it (unlike folding) but a while ago I recall a thread about a 3rd party program for limiting CPU usage, I'm sure a quick google on some relevant terms would give some results
The pc in question has a bit of a heat problem, a toasty p4 650 that shutsdown at 75c and the company director is tight and won't get air con
( never mind if Seti isn't on its fine 
)but have found http://threadmaster.tripod.com/ that limits cpu usage via some reg edits and works a treat.
