How to set new tab page to load a webpage on Edge

Hi all.

Does anyone know how to set Edge to open a webpage when you open a new tab? I want a new tab to load duckduckgo but I can only see a very limited range of options for the new tab page (focussed, inspirational, informational, custom).

Oddly enough, you can't. The old Edge was able to and there's no extensions that seems to override the new tab page.

I don't think you can. They are forcing you to use bing by default. The only close thing I have found is adding the home button and then adding a link there.

You can't for a new tab only when you open the browser currently.

Thanks this works. Bizarre you need to install an extension to do this though.
