how to set off my car alarm

i own the facelift bubble shape micra. the stickers in the corner of the front windows say it has an alarm yet for the life of me i cannot get it to go off, which is making me wodner if it actualy works? ive tried rocking the car and wiggling the wheel while the car is locked up and leaving a window open.

Leave the window open, activate the alarm and then open the car from the inside, always worked my peugeot anyway.

tried that one. doesnt work but I always put that down to the car not having central locking so theres no electronics monitoring the car locks or something.

Can I swap my alarm prediciment with yours? Mine goes off whenever it feels like it...except recently it's been going off at 10.20am almost on the dot...

Is the bonnet release external? If so try opening that when the alarm is on.

It definitely has an alarm? It doesn't just say "Thatcham cat2 approved" for example, which just means immobiliser?
