Just wondering the old man's wanting to go down the route of purchasing a projector and doing things the proper way.

Obviously he needs some help in doing this, and is wondering what is the best route to go down. For instance, what would you speculate the total cost being and how to provide a TV signal to the projector.

He's not the biggest fan of Sky as when his Sky box failed to work after a while, they would not send him a new one without a large amount of money being payed, yet if he was a new customer he would have received a new box.

Saying that, Sky is still an option ;) If it has to be. However I'd like to remind you we can't get cable down these ends so Virgin media isn't an option.

Hopefully you guys can help us out with this and also thanks in advance

Kind regards,

Dharok.

Freeview or Skybox is the easiest way to get TV down to the projector imho.

Too late this time... but if your skybox fails, dont bother ringing support. Just call sky cancellation, tell them you will leave sky if they dont replace the box... 9/10 times they will send out a replacement refurb box.
