Ok I've got two i7's set up with a multitude of games ... tell me how to set it up so I can play between the two computers ... please use an idiots guide and I might just understand :D

It's gonna depend based on the game. Connect them with a crossover cable or attach the machines to a switch and make sure they're both on the same network and then follow the instructions per game, one of you will more than likely have to host a server to connect to.

Install the same game on both PC's and then click on LAN or something like that in the games multiplayer menu and then you should be able to see the other PC. Make sure firewalls are turned off or are allowed to connect to the other computer. Then play games :)

do I actually disconnect from the net and run directly from one computer to the other? Or do I just leave everything the way it is and do what you suggest?

yeah just keep 'em both plugged into the switch and just start a local game, dont need to disconnect the internet or anything because your router knows the traffic isn't destined for outside your network.

Hey it worked ... hahaha ... looking at myself now from opposite directions :D
Now ... is it possible to have all the bots running around like normal? Oh I'm playing BF2 if that helps
