hi Guys,

So i have 32GB KINGSTON HYPERX BEAST QUAD-DDR3 2400MHz X.M.P (4 x 8GB KIT) and when i turn on pc i can see target speed is set up for 1330MHz so i wonder if you can help me how to set up my Dram to rum on 2400Mhz

I have Rampage 4 extreme and 4930k so i think my memory should run at 2400 all the time for better overall performance

I'm not familiar with Dram settings in bios so i need "tutorial for idiots"

Any one can help ?

enable x.m.p profile in the bios for 2400mhz

not sure whether youd run 32gb @2400mhz though? not sure on x79 can try

You might need to up your VCCSA and VTT. Some IMCs will struggle to run that much RAM at 2400. Sometimes not at all. Seen a few people running 1.3V VCCSA which is degrading voltage.

I'm actually this month in the process of buying some 2400. I currently run 32GB @ 2133mhz on Ivy-E, and realising that to get the most out of the memory you really need smaller DIMMs. So I am down sizing to 16GB kit.

If you're struggling to get it to run at the kits desired timings, firstly try upping the VTT to 1.1 and VCCSA to 1.15. Still no post try VCCSA @ 1.2

if still no post revert back to XMP profile voltages and lax timings.

Do you honestly need that much memory? I know it's fairly cheap at the moment and makes good pub talk, but 32-64gb kits are pretty slow in the speed stakes compared to some
