how to set up mega drive 2?

Hi. I have just bought a Megadrive 2, but i am struggling to set it up. It says to go to channel 33, yet my tele only goes to channel 9. Any ideas?

Thanks. Also, when a game is in the megadrive, should the light on the console turn green? It's always red.

Nah it's not a joke. I have done a tune but it still sees nothing, which is why i am asking if the console should have a green light when turned on.
