How do I set up my DD-WRT Linksys router so that basic web access gets given much greater priority than stuff like Sky Player / torrenting?

You need to run sufficient speedtests to know what your connection uplink & downlink is. Then, your router can keep below those values to avoid saturating the connection and thrashing your ping (if you've limited your upload speed slightly in a P2P program to keep the web usable, this is what it's doing).

You can then prioritise ports 80 and 443 above other traffic :)

I see no way of prioritising specific ports though

To paint the picture a little clearer, this is a multi-user network. A couple of people like to absolutely thrash the connection constantly, and I'd simply like to prioritise simple internet traffic (80 and 443 as mentioned), so that for those of us who aren't trying to download the entire web, the connection is still usable.
