Hello,
Bit of an odd question - sorry if its the wrong forum.
Ive heard of Google Custom Search and thought it would be useful for a website im making. I signed up and followed through the wizard, which generated some code for me - however it wasnt what i was expecting. It made a new search "page" if that makes sense (see here). It also seems to have setup a custom search engine online (see here)
I seem to have two separate search engines, the one here that is a dedicated search page which displays results as i would hope (eg here), but a second (using code i copied from the online search engine) that redirects you to results from the Google website (eg here).
What i want is for a search box in the top right to somehow parse the search query the page hosted on my website and display results there.
Does that even make sense and is it possible?
Thanks
