Internet > Router > PC > Phone

What is the best way to mirror my phone onto my HDTV?

My PC is a distance away from my TV, so I don't want to use a cable.

I was looking at a wireless USB dongle but there are so many and didn't like Chromecast as I found it too restrictive.

I'm just worried streaming from my PC to phone and phone to USB dongle will cause stuttering?

Just bought a Micro USB to HDMI adapter.

It says it will do what I want...

Ughhh, there were two options, I went with the cheaper one and only now realise why it was cheaper.

I need a 5 to 11pin adapter, which the cheaper cable didn't come with!

What make/model are the TV and Phone? You may just be able to use miracast/cast screen

LG 47" something and Note 2.

I should be good to go with the 5 to 11pin adapter.

Using an MHL to HDMI adapter but need another adapter to change my Note 2's Micro USB from 5 to 11pin.

Hopefully this might help someone in the future.
