I know there are good many of you who are rather good singers, so was wondering if anyone could help me out with this? Me and a friend are going to be covering Dashboard Confessional - Vindicated

I'm not singing it, but my friend is having a bit of trouble with the transition from verse to chorus. Can anyone give me some tips on how Chris Carabba is singing this? Is he singing falsetto in the chorus?

Ah thanks for that. I didn't think it was falsetto, but certainly neither of us can reach that octave in our normal ranges. We've tried it with the chorus sang powerfully in a do-able octave, but then the verse becomes too low, meh :(

i've been practicing this song for absolutely ages (1-2 years), so any tips would be much advised, i think it comes down to the fact i can't actually sing :(

I used to have trouble with this song, when i started i just used to sing an octive down but it lacked passion, so i spent a few months in my car windows up system up driving around and just breaking into that octive, at the start it was really unstable and i kept dropping notes and my voice kept 'breaking' but eventually i kept at it and got it down. The same with 'Hands Down'. Just time and effort.
