how to smooth edges - photoshop or html, not too sure

The logo in the top left hand corner has very jagged edges, how can I fix this problem? I have set the background white in photoship, its a gif but the jagged edges remain.

This usually happens when you set the picture size in (X)HTML to smaller than the actual dimensions. Reduce the picture size in Photoshop to the picture size you are using on your webpage and it should look a lot better.

That's the raw image. Resize that to your desired size instead of telling the browser to do it.

your design isnt loading properly in safari, the corners are all over the shop.

I had one more question - I want to make that logo animated, if when you log in for the first time, I was the white text in the red circle to spin once around. Is Imageready the one to use for this?
