Hi,
Could someone please advise me how to sort this mess out?
I'm having difficulty ripping CDs to mp3 and then transferring them to my Android phone.
As an example, I rip Blonde on Blonde to mp3. No problem as such the whole tracks are shown in windows MP Library in one file.
I rip Deep Purple Machine Head [remastered with bonus tracks] Again all the songs are shown in one file in windows.
However, if I transfer the ripped files to my LG G5 phone the phone will now show two albums in the music library. One containing the original files and the second showing the bonus duplicates. I ripped a King Oliver CD recently and after transfer discovered 3 different albums. Separating Joe Oliver from Luis Armstrong etc. Very weird.
Additionally I purchased a Spanish language course and ripped it to mp3. After being ripped some of the files showed the same name, so I ripped one CD at a time and named them: A. Lesson 1.mp3 etc.
When I transferred them to Android they reverted back to the mess they were in after original ripping and it's difficult for me to identify which lesson is which.
I thought by me renaming them on widows they would have remained in the logical order. If I identity a track (mp3) on Android there doesn't seem to be a way to rename a file.
Could someone please advise me how to sort this mess out?
