Because, much like 'Women, know your place'-style information leaflets of the thirties and forties are amusing when placed in today's more lenient society, a US Government information leaflet instructing people ion 'How to spot a Jap' is amusing.

Even more so when it uses such choice phrases as "The Chinese strides....The Jap shuffles."
