how to ssh to ilo, esxi, & synology outside of lan

So I have a gen8 microserver set up with esxi and xpenology, therefore I have at least 3 'things' that I may want to ssh into from outside the LAN. Since they're all behind one wan IP how would I do this?

Yeah, synology does have capability to run a vpn server, but as leigh_boy says, it's not bullet proof, practically.

I might not have a good solution since esxi starts from usb stick and always seems to disable ssh when it restarts
