I'm going on a long trip today and so I thought i'd mickey mouse my install of my Origin B2.

However, NOTHING seems to stick.

I've tried using electrical tape, duct tape, cellotape, double sided tape. None of them stick, they try but they just fall off.

Are dashboards made of teflon?

He;lp!!

Have you used some kind of silicone based cleaner on the dash?

Anyway - either get it off with something like tar spot remover or nail polish remover - or, if you have time - go to Halfords and buy a packet of velcro buttons - trust me - the sticky backs on those things could stick to ice cubes.

Rubbing alcohol or pure ethanol I think it is should remove any rubbish from your dash, as phantom has said it's probably polish stopping anything from sticking :)

Note * usage at own risk :p

I did use that dash cleaner stuff many many months ago (a year ago maybe!)

Damn, may pop over to halfords to get some of those velro bits....

thanks

Nailgun. BANG, BANG, job done and with a good tug it will come back off again :D

Or if you prefer, for less holes... No More Nails
You would have to cut it off with a big saw though :D

I used some Rear view mirror pads (double sided sticky black pads about 20x40mm) from parkers to stick mine on!

Hasn't budged in the year they've been there!
