How to stop a BenQ BL2411 auto switching input?

I have PCs plugged in over DVI and VGA. If I reboot a PC the monitor detects no signal and flicks over to an alternative input.

I don't want it to, and can't seem to disable it.

Just heard from BenQ support - There is NO way to turn off this "feature" :rolleyes:

Can you clarify your situation again?

So you have two PCs, but they're both plugged into the same monitor, one by VGA the other by DVI?

Exactly. It's an old XP system that I periodically need to use on the VGA.

But if the image cuts out from the VGA for any reason, the monitor decides in all its wisdom to change over to the DVI input. And then you have to go through the unnecessarily clunky monitor interface to get back the VGA again. :rolleyes:

It's just frustrating there's not an option to turn off this auto switching. I know what I'm doing and don't want a dumb monitor deciding.
