i cant for the life of my figure this out, if i delete the existing quick launch icons for IE/microsoft outlook, the next time i open the app, it recreates a shortcut there --how'd i stop this from happening as its annoying!

thanks.

Have you made any changes to the policies on the PC that may prevent you for making permenant changes to the quick launch bar?

Stop using the quick launch and make you own?.....

I have folders on my desktop that i drag all my icons into, i then set them folders as quicklaunch style toolbars.... saves having a desktop covered in icons... :D

how can you make your own quick launch? isn't quick launch the shortcuts next to the start button? if so i can see how you can add to them but not make your own one...

if deleting them doesn't work what about making it so there can say only be 10 icons and put 10 there infront of ie and outlook so that they are hidden behind the arrow if that makes sense? 10 is only an example, could just have 3 or whatever

Right click > "New toolbar"

I shrink my toolbars down to the minimum size and click the arrow for my shortcuts, i also sit mine to the right instead of the left... :D
