recently i have bought 2 new fan filters for my antec 900 to go between the front face and fans however they dont fit so i will have to use these else where anyways can anyone recommend a sloution or product to stop as much dust as possible getting inside the case?

Just buy some packing foam from a storage shop, it is thin white sheets of foam that allows air to get through, it'll reduce airflow a bit, but it'll do the job. I've got a bit under the front fan on my case, looks pants, works fine.

another vote for tights, works brilliant, advice:get thinner tights and double layer!!!

I'm not being facetious...

Vacuum and dust the room where the computer lives every day while the thing is turned off. Then give it 10 or 15 minutes for the dust to settle.

I nicked some foam inserts ages ago from an old server that had them in front of the fans... works a treat but I haven't seen them for sale anywhere... surprised OcUK don't sell these?

Trust me, vacuming and dusting does NOT help in stopping dust from building up by the fan vents. My room is probably the cleanest and most dust free room you will ever see (if you ever saw it) yet I still have to clean my P182's dust filters out every 2-3 weeks.

Least it doesn't get dust inside the case!

Any who in their right mind is going to clean a room once a day.. especially just to keep their computer clean o_0

Do like th thights idea though. wonder how I can fit them to my PC7 without pulling them over the top :D
