Bought an Akasa Venom off the MM and it's got badly damaged in transit. I'm hoping to try and get it back to a somewhat decent looking state but i've never had to do this before and i'm not sure what are the best tools/ways to go about it. Going out till about 2ish so i'll leave some photos and you guys can judge how bad it is.

I had this but not as bad, ironically on the Venom to. the corners were bent a bit, so I just used my finger/nail to move them back as they're pretty soft, just be slow and careful otherwise you'll misshape the fins.

Lol I sat on my TX3 a while ago (don't even ask), not only was it painful but also bent a lot of the fins out much worse.

As the others said, pair of needle-nose pliers and a lot of patience... I personally used my nail to straighten it out, but the big scar on the end of my finger didn't thank me for it much.

I bought one from the MM, and royal mail killed it :( So it just sits on the side, looking sad :(

in theory, a damaged fins on a cooler dont really stop it working, the conduction of heat will still operate, bent or not, the only difference is that it doesnt look nice - for a non-windowed case, i wouldnt worry :)

(it may not cool *quite* as well, but the difference would be neligable :) )

Lol. I've raised a claim with Hermes for not taking care with the parcel. I dropped it from the top floor down to the bottom floor of my house to test it FFS!

This is the first time anything I have ever packaged has been damages in the post.

It looks well damaged, PLUS 3 out 4 clips for the fan are broken, it could still be used i guess, but it does look a mess :(
