Hi all,

I would like to use Ubuntu for a media PC, I have installed enna which looks nice, but have been unable to play dvd or CD from the DVD drive on any Ubuntu software, nor have I managed to link the Ubuntu system with my PC for streaming music and movies from the Media storage drive?

Any tips or advice? Pretty shocked so far with how poor Ubuntu seems to be?

Still not sorted this, I have my downstairs PC on, upstairs PC has Ubuntu 10.04 installed, plus Enna and Boxee which look like a Ubuntu version of Windows Media Center. But though I can click on places-network and view the downstairs PC (I have to enter a password which seems to have odd settings? and access more folders than I care to including my shared drive E, I cannot get Enna Or Boxee to automatically add these as my media folders? Nor can I change my music folders to these within Ubuntu folders (IE click on my music within my Ubuntu and have it show the empty folder on its drive snd the folder on drive E)?
