is there any way to tell what type of card i have
i know is xpertvision 8800gt ( gold heatsink ) but how can i tell if its the normal one or sonic ? as they both seem to have gold h/s

also

if it is the normal one, should this have temp and fan sensors ?
as mine seems not to have them

Install rivatuner then click on the "system settings" tab for info on your cards clock speeds, if it's sonic then it'll read 650 core, 1650 shaders and 950 memory (1900 DDR3).

It'll still have a temp sensor even if it's the standard clocked edition but you need a 3rd party app to access it, again, rivatuner does the job perfectly, just click on the "hardware monitoring" tab.

Download gpu-z

The standard gt runs at 600 whereas the sonic runs at 650 - gpu-z should show you which
