I have been handed a laptop from one of my other halfs friends, its some cheapy hi-grade laptop, i think the model is MiNote 8615 and there is very little information out about it.
I have found out it has the VIA VN890 & VIA 8237A chipset and i was wondering is it possible from this information alone to workout what size modules the laptop will take?
I allready know its DDR2 current mem is 4200 in a 256 module form.
I was thinking maybe sticking a 1gb in there but i wasn't sure if it would handle this size module as I have had issue in the past.
Any help would be apprieciated.
