How do you know if a girl is checking you out?

Reason for this question is because i went to a mall today and there was a girl in the hair dresses getting her hair done and when i walked past she was giving a bit of a glance.

Then my mate got me to walk past into a shop just past it to see if she looks again and she did.

Then we had to go find mum and on our way to her we had to go past the girl in the hair dressers again and i got another glance.

It wasnt just me that noticed it but my mate did to.

So was she checking me out
And what do u do if a girl in a shopping mall is checking you out?

Haha, she was probably bemused as to why you kept walking past over and over again watching her face.

I didnt stare, i just had a quick glance and caught her looking.
My mate saw her looking one of the times when i wasnt looking

Did you have a sign stuck to your back by any chance? I've found people look at you a lot and smile then....

No chance because i never had my back turned

Yes, yes it is.
I come froma reasonably small town and i come from a really small school(a huge class of 15 at most and thats the entire year level.)
And i havnt been looking around at girls or noticing signals for ages so im a bit out of touch.
And im a reasonably shy guy and would find it hard to go up to someone stranger in a mall and high five them.
