Just brought an A64 3200+ off the MM.

Ive not used it yet but is there a way of telling if i have a good clocker as i dont really want to take my chip out to find out :p

Also can anyone confirm what core it is?

Codes on it are :

ADA3200DAA4BP

LBBLE 0545 XPAW

Cheers

venice core

From extremesystems - "All three hit 2600mhz rock solid but until now only the 0545 is known to hit 2700 rock solid aswell. Pushed my memory up to 250mhz yesterday @ 3v with the 0545 running at 2745mhz and hit the 30.812s on SuperPI. Atm i'm waiting for my DFI Expert to come in so i can tweak the mem/cpu a bit more and hopefully hit the 17000 in 3dmark 03 with 2 6600gt's in SLI. (Got until 16867 now)"

Depends on what you achieve 2.5-2.6 is possible on this chip, even 2.7

I dont think id get 2.7Ghz out of it as my board gives up at 267 FSB. So thats gonna give me 2.67Ghz, only 70Mhz more than what i got now :) Plus ive got dual coree at the mo.

I will giove it a go when i get another mobo, looking to get an asrock dual to put it in as the kids are using an AGP Ti4200 gfx card
