How to Temp stop a laptop from connecting to router

Hi, I have a Netgear Dg834 wireless router, the main computer is attached to router by a cable but I have a laptop in the house that wirelessly connects to the router.

What is the easiest way to stop that laptop connecting to my computer/router.

I am thinking just change my password on the router is that the best way ?

Manage network connections, right-click and disable the wireless interface.

if you mean change the routher wifi password that would work, routers usually have an admin login and password, changing that would do nothing to stop the laptop connecting.

disable laptop network connector, or turn off wifi at router or change wifi password (last 2 usually need a router reboot)

if the router has access control you could exclude the laptop from connecting this is usually done using every ethenet adapters unique mac number or sometimes computer names
