I have a question. I have physical Cisco gear from eBay but 1 PC. How would I test connectivity between A and B with only 1 PC attached? Is this possible?
Simple Example
2 switches connected to each other. Switch 1 has a PC connected to F0/1...how would I ping to an invisible PC on Switch 2 F0/2? Can this be done for lab testing/studying or does it have to be a physical PC on the other end? Packet tracer gets me so far, but time to move to the physical equipment.
