Well, this guy certainly thought of an interesting way :D

So after not having a bike for several months, I was in the position to pick up my old GSXR SRAD - my 1st ever bike which I sold to my friend before we moved to Aus.

Since then he's dropped it once, then it got nicked from his back yard, the ignition chopped about, then dumped in a ditch. That was last September, and since then it has sat in his friend's back yard, untouched. Sacrilege I tell ya.

So I was going up to Newcastle this weekend, and arranged to pick it up as I'm buying it off him. I had the amazingly awesome plan of taking it home in my Clio. I removed all but the driver's seat, leaving a nice bike-sized void in the body of the car, ready for insertion.

Apologies for the slightly crap pics, old skool camera (I'm not allowed to use the good one!).

One semi-stripped SRAD:

Tbh, it was a LOT bigger than I had anticipated, but it all went in - just! Covered it with a sheet and drove the 325miles home in the ****ing rain, taking it very easy!

All I have to do is fix it up & save some cash for the insurance etc etc. Plan is for it to be ready for summer 2011, when my licence will be clean again.

It sure is nice to have it back!

:D.

I don't see the problem, I can't think of any law he's breaking! :p

only he cant see out the window but Im not sure there are laws on that lol.

Reminds me of when i had to take a car full of oak flooring to Glasgow. Couldnt see out the back or the left. wasn't impressed

LMAO!!! Brilliant :D

I picked my first bike up in a horse box lol.

ags

Thats what knockhill use when someone has an off LOL.

Bad enough having an off then everyone laughing at you when they realise you are okay but returning in a horse box holding your bike thats just not fun

Bahahaha, genius owner!

All he needs now is a pic of him driving it with the passenger window down so it can stick its head out and pant :D
