Hi Dudes,

Story first: I'm applying for a job and the application form was a PDF form download. Problem: My handwriting is a bit crap, just like a lot of blokes! ;) Solution: Type on the PDF document and print it.

How can I do this? I open it with Foxit reader, and I can't edit it. I also opened it with OpenOffice, and it came out as loads of weird stuff.

Can anyone suggest a program which will allow me to type on the form and print it out? I really would love some advice on this one, however I will not be able to reply until tommorrow morning as I am going out to get drunk.

Many thanks in advance!! :)

Paul

you cant type on it I dont think...the easiest way is "google" a free convertor tool so you convert PDF to DOC .....type your info on the form and then get another freeware program courtesy of google and make it into a PDF again

:)

I have tried this before and even if you manage to get it done, the chances are they will reject the application if it isnt handwritten anyway.

you can type on some pdfs using adobe reader and print the form with text but not save the text. I image you would be able to with this application form.

You could download the Adobe Acrobat trial (not reader) ... It allows you to make boxes and type into them onto the document.

Way too much hassle, unless the PDF was designed as a form.

Thanks for the help chaps, looks like theres no simple way of doing this so I'll just write on the bloody thing.

Cheers again, :)
