how to undo a really really stiff bolt

If ALL fails, run a 3-4mm drill down the centre of the bolt. This can relieve some pressure from the bolt. If that doesnt work drill the hole bigger but make sure the threads are safe.

already tried this.

unfortunately the bolt only has a recess for a hex bit to fit in rather than socket set to get round and it keeps slipping out. :(

I bought a hex bit for my torque wrench when fitting my 310 upgrade. I would use a breaker bar with extension scaffold and repeated treatments of penetrating fluid/wd40 and blow torch heating.

Careful, dont just use loads of force, I did that and snapped the head off the bolt :(
Caliper bolts are a ****** to do, impact wrench, heat, maybe some penetrating oil like WD40.

Torque wrench + liberal force?

for gods sake dont undo a really stiff bolt with a torque wrench youll kill it, only use a torque wrench for tightning not undoing, youll knacker the torque / clicky thingy...... use a big breaker bar and heat from a blow lamp but be carefull not to heat up any associated brake lines as brake fluid is more flamable than petrol and doesnt like being boiled!!!
