How to update a Gigabyte board's BIOS?

Hi,

I'd like to update my BIOS as I'm having trouble enabling CrossfireX on my 7990 (I tried everything on that end, this is sorta like a last resort).

My MOBO is: GA-Z87X-D3H, current BIOS is F5. I downloaded F7 from Gigabyte's website but when I run it it says it's not the 64x version, and I can't find a 64x version anywhere.

I appreciate your time trying to assist me.

you need a usb memory stick formatted to fat32

download/extract the bios to the usb stick or just drag it across,reboot into the bios and press end key I think for qflash,then point it to the bios and flash it

that's it

if latest final off gigabyte doesn't cure it try latest beta

Thank you mate. My board is not z87x oc though, so I shouldn't be using this BIOS, should I?

You may update the motherboard BIOS with QFlash Utility. More details on this link.
