How to update BIOS on Asus boards?

You'll need to create a bootable dos cdr, with the asus AFUDOS update tool and the new bios image on it (unzipped). Everything you need is on the asus support site under your model of your board

Google bios flash boot cd, there are plenty of guides to help you create the cdr.

ok thanks! :) Glad i don't have to use a Floppy. lol

Or you could use EZ-flash if you board has it. Put the unzipped bios file on a floppy disk or a CD. At post press ALT+F2 and then it will flash from the floppy or CD

NOTE: you have to rename the file to P5WDH.ROM or similar. Also if it flashes bad. Insert your motherboard cd and do the EZ-FLASH and it will flash it to the original. Whatever that file is called call your updated bios' before flashing it :D
