been trying to do it the ways tutorials have said (download the installer thing from gigabyte sit, and then doing it manually from the BIOS but then it says incorrect file size) but to no avail.
any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

What motherboard is it?

The simplest way is to place the BIOS file onto a USB drive and use Qflash which you will find in the BIOS or it maybe a certain key to press to enter it when the PC boots up.

yeah i put the files onto my flash drive after formatting it to fat32, and then it came up on the q-flash but it said incorrect file size when i tried to update with it

What board is it exactly?

Are you sure theres not a slight variable in the name to the one you got the BIOS for?

So you downloaded the file, then extracted it?

Which gives you three files named,

• autoexec
• FLASHPI
• 89FXAU52.F6

You place the last file (around 1MB in size) onto the drive.

You only really need the last file (the actual BIOS update)

Enter Qflash, select update from drive, then select the file, it should then do its thing.

I suppose you could always try @BIOS utility from the windows desktop.
