How to Update Nvidia Graphics Card Driver?

Hi Guys

I have a very old version of Nvidia Graphics card driver installed in Windows 7 on my EVGA 680GTX GPU
What is the correct way to update to a newer version of GPU Nvidia driver?

Do I just un-install the old version and install the new version?

What the best/correct way?

during the new install, old ones are removed automatically.
