how to upgrade macbook ram?

got 2gb (2x1gb sticks) of matched up RAM for my macbook today and are made by crucial so I know they will be directly compatible as I checked online before hand. How easy or hard is it to install the ram myself? A guide would be lovely!

hate to just be obvious but - google it.

macbook ram install got me tonnes of results including useful photo and video guides.

It's actually so easy you'll laugh.

All you need is a tiny phillips screwdriver and YouTube

Its hard to get wrong once you've worked out the release catch. After installing the new sticks it wont go back together unless you've done it right.

I thought you had to take that L-plate off first

You need a tiny little phillips screwdriver, which annoyed me because i didnt have one small enough and had to wait a few weeks to install my shiny new ram
